The Friday grade 1 class at Toyoshina has just finished learning individual letter sounds and now we're having fun realising how much we can read and write using the phonics rules.
Today we changed things up by writing on the board while Heather-sensei wrote on paper. Then we read out our words and checked them against the list.
D and B are tricky sounds to distinguish but we're doing really well!
