The grade 2s introduce their favourite Halloween characters

The Thursday Grade 2 class in Azusagawa has been learning about different Hallowwen characters.

We just finished a unit on ourselves and writing about what we like and dislike so we decided to imagine how our favourite Halloween characters would answer:

Soccer loving vampires?

Bats who don't like oranges?

We put lots of thinking into our papers and tried our best to write on the lines.

It got a bit crazy there with all that information to get down:

But we were having such a good time everyone decided to do not one but TWO Halloween charactrs each.

Phew.....

Go away!!

Today in the mummy and me class at Azusagawa we read 'Go away big green monster' then we made our own monsters.

They're pretty scary!!

We chose big or small eyes, nose, ears and mouth and then how many teeth and hairs we wanted.

for R's mum

Today R-kun came to class without his mummy for the first time.

He had a great time and Heather sensei helped him do his work.

We made a colour coordinated castle and took a picture for mummy.

Here you are mummy!

how many games of bingo??

Today we had a new record in class.

K chose to do 22 bingo cards simultaneously.

He was VERY busy!!
